Underworld Movie Storyline
Vampires and Lycans, a prehistoric type of werewolf, have been at war in secret for years. After Lycan leader Lucian seems to die at the hands of vampire Kraven, who takes over as the second-in-command to the vampires’ top elders, the vampires get the upper hand.
Although other vampires no longer view the Lycans as a danger, Selene, a member of the elite organisation of vampire assassins known as “Death Dealers,” is still dedicated to eradicating them. Selene learns that the Lycans are searching for Michael Corvin, an apparently normal medical student, during a battle with the Lycans. Selene quietly looks into Michael despite Kraven’s admonition to disregard the circumstance.
A gang of Lycans commanded by Lucian are after the two when they approach him. Lucian is still alive and manages to bite Michael as they flee. Kraven was the only one there when Lucian was allegedly killed, leading Selene to believe that he may have been lying and cooperating with the Lycans.
